Back in Argentina

Well, I am back in Argentina. This border crossing was quite a bit easier, seeing as how it was in the middle of nowhere. It was a long ride, but the last two hours were well worth it. Climbing over mountain passes with lakes and forests surrounding us. We got in late and headed to our hostel. The Yakush, love the name. It is really comfortable and the people are great. We headed out for a beer, and when we sat down we found a local beer named after the channel, Beagle. Of course I had to get one, in fact I tried all of their brews.
Today, we took care of some errands and headed to the museum which is held in the old prison. There were different exhibits in each wing of the prison. It was really interesting, it was an open door prison. Meaning the prisoners were allowed to leave, because at the time, there was no other way off the island, and to try and brave the forest into Chile, they would most likely perish. Tomorrow, we are going to head up into some of the parks and hike around. Sunday...... Antarctica!
