A
fter a few days rest, rotating the tires, and eating Chinese food (much needed), we headed for the town of Pumamarca and the 7 colored canyon. We have already found that I have trouble counting to seven (Antarctica). We weren´t sure whether we counted seven, but Pumamarca was a great little town tucked in the middle of nowhere.

We stayed the night at a small little hostel off the square and enjoyed some food accompanied by local music. It was a relaxing stay and we headed for the border the next morning.

On our way we crossed some salt flats and stopped for some fun with depth of field. However, we didn´t stay long knowing we were going to see a much larger salt flat in Bolivia. We have now crossed the Chile-Argentina border for hopefully the 7th and final time.
We have also crossed into the tropics (Tropic of Capricorn). This doesn´t mean that it is warm now, still pretty cold at night. We are heading for the town of San Pedro de Atacama, where there are a number of activities to do. Goodbye Argentina for now, maybe we will cross paths again.
