Lung burning fun

After getting soaked the night before the game we decided that we weren´t cold enough. Liz and I headed out to do a little active exploring. We headed for the highest active volcano in the world, Cotopaxi, to shred some rubber. We climbed the mountain with our trusty guide and he equipped us with some gear. It was a little cold, so I borrowed some girly warm stuff from Newman. I made the hat look pretty good. Liz went for the knee pads and once again, looked like she knew what she was doing. We rolled up our jeans (don´t really have anything else to wear, literally!). The ride was great, the clouds opened up just long enough to see the amazing volcanoes peak. After cruising down for a while we had lunch at an old Incan ruin. We headed down some more, until we hit the uphill part. We found out how much your lungs can burn at around 4,000 m. With our guide laughing at us we pushed on. We rode through a little sprinkle and finally slumped into the truck for a ride back home. But we were ready for a little Thursday night out, cause Newman doesn´t give breaks when it comes to going out!
